Shounak helps mistreated people band together and seek recovery for their injuries through complex litigation.
In 2017, Shounak was appointed by the California Supreme Court to a committee tasked with re-evaluating the content validity of the State Bar Exam – the gatekeeper for all new lawyers in California. Previously, he served as the elected representative for all law students at the University of San Francisco School of Law, as the President of the Student Bar Association, where he spearheaded the development of mental health and substance abuse initiatives. He also serves as an adjunct faculty coach for USF’s Moot Court Program.
Prior to joining the Arns Law Firm, Shounak worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kathleen M. Banke, of the California Court of Appeal and the United States Attorney’s Office.
